2008 NKCDP

Supporting improvements to educational facilities and programs continues to stand as a top priority of the community. With the exception of Private, Charter and on-line facilities, education in Kohala has been the charge of the State of Hawai`i’s Department of Education. Nonetheless, the CDP recognizes the need for Hawai`i County to join in supporting enhancement of educational opportunities for all Kohala’s students regardless of age.
